CITY CHURCH WORSHIP 

At City Church Wolverhampton, we desire to be a vibrant, worshipping community. We are committed to proclaiming and glorifying the Lord Jesus through corporate, sung worship in our church and in our city. Ultimately, we want to be part of seeing the City of Wolverhampton saturated with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The title of the EP, ‘Beneath the Shadow’, is a paraphrase from our rearrangement of the Isaac Watts’ hymn, “Oh God, Our Help in Ages Past”. The line goes: “Beneath the shadow of thy throne, thy saints have dwelt secure.” It paints a wonderful picture of God’s sovereignty and providence in caring for those who love and trust him. In addition, to rewrites of hymns by Fanny J. Crosby and A.B. Simpson, the album also features an original song ‘Boast.’ The full album is now available wherever you listen to music.
